Cookie Policy
What Anyeria stores in your browser, why, and how to turn it off.
Last updated: 8 September 2026
This policy explains how Anyeria uses cookies and similar browser storage while keeping the service anonymous.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember preferences and keep a session working across page loads. “Local storage” works similarly and is covered here too.
2. How we use them
- Essential: keeping your session working and your place in the chat.
- Preference: remembering your settings — for example your interests, or the list of people you have chatted with, which is stored in your browser and never uploaded to us.
- Performance: anonymous analytics that tell us whether the service is working and how fast it is.
- Advertising: our advertising partners set cookies to select and measure the ads that keep Anyeria free.
3. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by services we rely on rather than by us — analytics, our advertising partners, and GIPHY when you open the GIF picker. These are governed by those companies' own privacy policies.
We do not use cookies to build a profile of you, and we have no account to attach one to.
4. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers let you:
- View and delete cookies already stored on your device.
- Block cookies from specific sites, or from all sites.
- Be notified when a cookie is set.
Disabling cookies may break parts of the service, including staying connected to a chat. Clearing site data also erases your saved list of past chat partners, since it lives only in your browser.
5. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy. The revision date at the top of this page shows when it last changed, and continued use of the platform means you accept it.
