Who we are

No account, ever

You do not register, and we never ask for your name, email, phone number, date of birth or photograph. There is no profile, no login and no password, so there is no account for anyone to breach or for us to hand over.

Your conversations are not recorded

Video and audio travel directly between you and the other person wherever the network allows it, using WebRTC. We do not record, store or listen to calls. When a direct connection is impossible, media is relayed through a TURN server to get through restrictive networks — a relay passes encrypted traffic through and does not keep it.

Text messages are passed between the two of you and are held only in your browser for the length of the conversation. They are not written to our database. Close the tab or skip, and they are gone.

What we do collect

Running an anonymous service safely still requires a little data. This is all of it:

• Your IP address. This is how the service identifies you, because nothing else does. It is used to enforce bans and blocks, to record reports, to detect VPN and datacenter traffic, to limit abuse, and to attach paid access to whoever paid for it. On mobile networks we store only the network prefix rather than the full address, since mobile addresses rotate constantly.
• Your country. Determined from your connection by our network provider so we can show a flag and run the country filter. We do not use a third-party lookup service and do not track location any more precisely than the country.
• Basic technical data. Browser and device type, connection times and session length — used to keep the service working and to size capacity.
• Reports you make. When you report someone, we store the report with the addresses of both parties so we can act on it.
• Payment records. If you buy the Country Filter, we store the order reference, plan, price, expiry, and the coin and amount that arrived. Not the wallet you paid from.

What we never see

We never receive your wallet's keys. Payments are made entirely on our payment provider's own page. Private keys and recovery phrases are never transmitted to us, and we will never ask for them. Like any crypto payment, the transfer itself is recorded on its public blockchain.

How long we keep it

• Chat content: not stored at all.
• Matchmaking and session data: deleted when you disconnect.
• Reports: up to 90 days, then removed automatically.
• Blocks: kept while they are in force, so the person you blocked stays blocked.
• Bans: kept for the length of the ban. Permanent bans are kept permanently, which is what makes them permanent.
• Payment records: retained as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. It reaches only the providers needed to run the service:

• Cloudflare — network protection and the country signal.
• Our hosting, database and cache providers — where the service and the records above run.
• Our payment provider (NOWPayments) — runs the crypto checkout and confirms payments to us.
• GIPHY — supplies GIFs when you open the GIF picker.
• Advertising partners — may set cookies on the site. See our Cookie Policy.

We will also disclose data where the law compels us to, or to protect someone from serious harm — in particular where a child is at risk.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and your browser's local storage to remember preferences, keep your session working and support advertising. Your list of past chat partners is stored in your browser only and is never uploaded — clearing your site data erases it. See the Cookie Policy for detail.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and comparable laws you may ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, and complain about how we handle it.

There is an honest limitation. Because we hold no account, the only identifier we have is an IP address — so to act on a request we usually need you to write from the connection in question, and we may not be able to link a request to any particular record. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Anyeria is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor is using the service, report them in chat or email us immediately and we will remove their access.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit, calls are peer-to-peer where possible, and access to our systems is restricted. No online service can promise perfect security, and we do not: the strongest protection here is that there is very little stored to lose.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The revision date at the top of this page always shows when it last changed, and continuing to use Anyeria after a change means you accept it.
