What is Anyeria?

Anyeria connects you to a random stranger for a one-to-one video, text or audio conversation. Press start and you are talking to someone new within seconds; skip and you are talking to someone else. You can also join spectator mode (ask a question and watch two strangers discuss it, or join a discussion) and voice rooms(group audio rooms of up to six around a topic).

Is it free?

Yes. Random video chat, text chat, audio chat, spectator mode, voice rooms, interest matching, games, watch together, friends and reconnecting are all free, with no account and no card. So is every safety feature — reporting, blocking, the chat filter and camera blur.

One optional extra is paid: the Country, Gender & Age Filter, which lets you choose the countries you are matched with, whether you meet men, women or everyone, and the age range you want — in video, voice and text chat. It starts at ₹29 for 30 minutes, by UPI or card, and there is a two-month pass at $15 paid in crypto. You never need it to use Anyeria — see Pricing.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no registration, no profile and no password. Your chats are anonymous and are not recorded.

How are users matched?

By default you are paired at random with whoever else is waiting. If you add interests, we first try to find someone who listed the same one and tell you both what matched you. If nobody shares an interest, you are matched normally rather than left waiting.

Is it safe?

Calls are peer-to-peer and encrypted in transit, and nothing you say is stored. Every chat has a report and a block button, and users reported by several different people are banned automatically.

Explicit messages are blocked before they reach you, nudity on camera is checked, and flooding, spam and abuse get a ban, and a ban, a block or a report cannot be undone by clearing your browser data: your device is recognised. The Safety Center has the detail.

You are still talking to strangers, so please never share personal information — your full name, address, school or workplace, phone number or financial details.

Why are my camera, microphone and the stranger's video off?

Video chats start private on purpose. Your camera and microphone and the stranger's speaker are off and their picture is blurred until both of you tap Show; then everything switches on together. If either of you skips or exits, it all goes off and blurs again and you choose again with the next person.

Why am I muted in audio chat or a voice room?

Your microphone starts muted in audio chat and every voice room so nothing is heard until you decide to speak. Tap the microphone to unmute. In audio chat it goes back to muted after each call.

Can I give feedback?

Yes. After you finish a chat we may ask how it went (at most a few times a day), and there is always a Feedback page under Quick Links. The email is optional.

Why wasn't my message sent?

Every line is checked before it is delivered. A message with sexually explicit content, or a request for nudes or sex, is blocked and not shown to anyone, and sending it gets you banned. Swearing the filter catches is blocked too: three filtered messages in a day is a seven-day ban. Sending messages too fast, or spamming, is also a ban. Links and phone numbers are removed. Is my video checked?

Your browser blurs what the other person sends if it looks explicit and shows a red warning. Our server also asks the viewer's browser for a small still, now and then, and a safety model checks it. Most chats are not checked for long, and the stills are deleted straight away unless they are flagged. Nudity on camera earns a warning the first time, and a ban when a second, different viewer's check flags it too.

I was banned. What now?

The ban page shows why and for how long, and lets you appeal once per ban. A moderator reads every appeal, and a ban that was a mistake is lifted. Trying to get round a ban with a new browser or a VPN makes things worse: the network you used is watched, and a new browser from it is treated as low-trust and has to verify it is human often.

I cleared my browser data. Am I unbanned?

No. Bans, blocks and reports are kept on our side and tied to your device as well as to your browser's key, so clearing cookies, local storage or site data does not undo them. The same goes for people you have blocked: they stay blocked. If a ban is a mistake, or if a stranger on a similar device was caught by it, appeal from the ban page and a person will look. Why can't I send my own GIF?

GIFs can only come from GIPHY's rated library. Uploaded pictures are not accepted, so nothing explicit can be sent that way.

What happens when I block someone?

You will never be matched with them again, and they will never be matched with you. It works in both directions and does not tell them anything.

Can I talk to someone again?

Yes. After a chat you can invite that person back — they get a prompt and can accept or decline. Neither of you exchanges any contact details, and the list of past partners is kept in your browser only. If either of you blocked the other, the invitation is not possible.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. Anyeria works on phones, tablets and desktops, with a layout built for each.

Why am I being asked to turn off my VPN?

Traffic from VPNs and hosting providers is overwhelmingly automated rather than real people, so it is blocked to keep the service usable. Turning the VPN off and reloading resolves it.
